AI Product Build for Founders

Ship a real AI product
without burning the round.

A sprint to validate. A build to ship. A growth engine to scale. One senior team, weekly demos, no handoffs.

30 minutes with a founder. No BDRs, no slides.

—— The products behind the raises

Built by the same team that would build yours

Real products, real raises, real acquisitions — built by the same senior team that would build yours.

Hydrow

Hydrow — the live outdoor rower

$200M raised

Mobile app, live streaming, real-time metrics, and hardware integration — built in 6 months. Now backed by Timberlake, Lizzo, Rodgers, and Kelce.

"I've always believed rowing is underutilized… RFS helped us build the product that proved it."
— Bruce Smith, Hydrow
AdMeld · Motally

SDKs Google + Nokia bought

2 acquisitions

Three iOS + Android SDKs — real-time bidding, interactive radio, analytics. AdMeld went to Google (2011); Motally went to Nokia.

Yamaha

Yamaha NoteStar — world's largest iPad sheet music platform

6.97M users

Sheet music platform with real-time accompaniment. Built, launched, and operated by our team. Scale that proves the engineering holds up.

"Their work demonstrates the ability to create products that are smooth running, innovative, and well designed."
— Joe Berkovitz, Yamaha / Hal Leonard
Eyebot

Eyebot — AI-powered vision screening kiosk

2 live · 8 rolling out

90-second AI eye exam deployed in Boston malls. Hardware + software integration from prototype to production, expanding across New England.

"The pace, the rigor — exactly what we needed to get an AI vision kiosk to market."
— Jack Moldave, Eyebot
—— Founder AI Engagement Paths

Three ways in. Pick yours.

Whether you're validating, shipping, or scaling — pick the path that matches where your product is today.

PATH A · VALIDATE FIRST

"We need a real product, not a Figma file your investors flip through."

AI Prototype Sprint AI-Native Build (if green)

Walk away with: a clickable prototype, technical architecture, competitive analysis, and a go/no-go recommendation — in 3 weeks.

Start with Prototype Sprint →
PATH B · I KNOW WHAT TO BUILD. SHIP IT.

"We've validated the idea. Now we need a team that ships production software, not another agency selling discovery."

AI-Native Development

Walk away with: a shipped product, the code in your repo, and a team that stays through launch and growth.

Start with AI-Native Build →
PATH C · WE SHIPPED. NOW GROW IT.

"The product is live but nobody knows it exists. We need growth that compounds, not one-off campaigns."

AI Growth Engine

Walk away with: a growth strategy, acquisition channels, conversion optimization, and a team that runs it month over month.

—— What makes this different

What founders gain when they work with us

The same three advantages, every engagement. Ship while you hire, validate before you scale, and get strategy, design, engineering, and growth from one team.

01 03
01 / Ship while you hire

Real product on day one — not month six

Recruiting a senior engineering team takes 4–6 months. We ship real product on day one — so by the time your team is in place, you have something in users' hands, not a folder of specs.

02 / Validate before you scale

A working product, not a deck — in 3 weeks

We start with a 3-week prototype sprint — a working product, not a deck. You walk away with a real go/no-go before committing the full build budget.

03 / One team, four functions

Strategy, design, engineering, and growth — one studio

No handoffs between agencies, no communication gaps, no finger-pointing at launch. The same team that validates it builds it, launches it, and grows it.

—— Common questions

What founders ask first.

Timelines, pricing, IP ownership, working with your CTO, equity, and whether you're too early.

What's a realistic timeline from kickoff to MVP?

Three weeks for a validated Prototype Sprint, then 4–14 weeks for the Product Build depending on tier. Starter MVPs ship in 4–6 weeks; full-feature builds run 10–14.

How does pricing work?

The Sprint is fixed-price. The Product Build is tiered (Starter / Standard / Enterprise) with scope and price locked at architecture approval. The Growth Engine is a monthly retainer. No open-ended hourly billing.

Who owns the IP — us or you?

You own everything — code, designs, models, prompts, training data — under standard work-for-hire terms. Your repos, your cloud account. Investor due diligence reads clean.

Can you work alongside our existing CTO or tech lead?

That's our preferred mode. We embed with your CTO, work in your repos, follow your standards, and attend your standups. Many of our best engagements happen with a strong technical founder in the driver's seat.

Do you take equity in lieu of fees?

Generally no. We're a services business, and we want you spending equity on the team you'll keep forever. In rare cases we'll do a partial-equity arrangement — let's talk on the intro call.

We're pre-revenue. Are we too early for you?

If you've raised, you're not too early. The Hydrow team came to us early — the result was the app behind a $200M raise. If you're pre-funding, the Prototype Sprint is the cheapest way to get something investors can react to.
